Promotion of Faith 信仰培育組

I. 服務範疇 Services Establishment:

因應堂區的需要和在聖神領導下，信仰培育組於一九九五年成立，開辦了成人及兒童慕道班(入門聖事)，和青少年及兒童主日學課堂。服務範圍伸延至國語團體。

信仰培育組更肩負上使教友有系統地重溫教理、聖經、禮儀、倫理和信仰生活的事工。

With guidance from the Holy Spirit, the Promotion of Faith Group was established in 1995 because there was a need from the Parish. We started with the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adult and Children (RCIA & RCIC) classes and the Sunday school classes for children and teenagers.

We branched out these services to the Mandarin Group. The services of the group also include:

- unrelenting focus on the teaching of the Catholic Catechism
- the preparation of catechumens for Sacraments
- the spiritual formation of Catholic members and evangelization

II. 宗旨 Mission Statement:

有計劃地為整個堂區傳揚福音、有系統地向不同年歲的男女老少講授教理和天主教信仰，令他們能妥善準備領受聖事和使他們善渡教友生活，學習愛主愛人。

To carry out the ministry of evangelization on behalf of the parish. Our mandate is to formulate and organize; to nurture the growth of faith in God for all age groups so that they are prepared to celebrate the Sacraments and practise their faith as responsible Catholics; to love God and to love all people.

IV. 服務 Services:

A) 教友兒童信仰培育 Catholic Children Faith Promotion

1) 主日學 Sunday School

幫助公教家庭的兒童及青少年(三年班或以上), 參與禮儀活動 - 感恩祭、善工、聖事和服務等；從中認識信仰、學習祈禱、如何善渡教友生活、和學習愛主愛人。

Helps children (Grade three and up) from Catholic families to fully participate in the liturgy of Words in Mass and all other liturgy adoration including Sacraments and services. To understand the Catholic faith, learn how to pray, live out as a Catholic and love God and everyone.

星期日上午10:00 – 10:30 (以英語及廣東話授課)

Sunday at 10:00 am – 10:30 am (Languages: English and Cantonese)

2) 兒童主日聖道禮儀 Children Sunday Liturgy :

幫助公教家庭的兒童(幼兒班至二年班)，以唱遊，手工勞作和講故事的形式，從中認識主日聖祭禮儀的主旨、學習祈禱和愛天主愛人。

Helps Children (JK to Grade 2) from Catholic families, with songs, activities, art/craft and stories to get them understand the main theme of the Sunday Liturgy, learn how to pray and God’s Love.

星期日上午10:30 – 11:30 (以英語及廣東話授課)

Sunday at 10:30 am – 11:30 am (Languages: English and Cantonese)

3) 聖事班 Children Sacraments Classes :

為適齡的兒童預備領受聖事。

To prepare children for the appropriate sacraments.

a) 初領聖體班 First Communion Class

b) 堅振聖事班 Confirmation Class

每月德行 Virtue of the month

B) 非教友信仰培育 Non-Catholic Catechist

慕道班 - 為不同年齡 (成人、青少年、兒童) 策劃之慕道課程，配合聖言和生活的實踐，讓慕道者學習閱讀聖經、禮儀和祈禱的生活，培養他們積極活潑的信仰觀。

RCIA, RCIY and RCIC - The group’s mandate is to evangelize, to nurture the growth of faith in God for all age groups and focus on the teaching of the Catholic Catechism, the preparation of catechumens for Sacraments and to practise their faith as responsible Catholics.

包括：再慕道、天主教要理講授、聖經研讀、信仰講授。

Re-enlightenment Programs include: Re-Catechism, Catechism of catholic Church, Bible study, General Theology Study, etc.
